The photo shoot we recently did was amazing and working with the other stylist at the beauty box was fun. I love working with my team because they are all so talented in different ways. Our hair model Jennifer Brown did fantastic and was very easy going.

We did several phases in our shoot. We started with the first date hair and then went on to engagement hair and last but not least the wedding hair. The Beauty Box Salon wanted something classy but not classic. A mix of curls, a braid and tall hair is a style that an ordinary bride would not normally wear. It’s a very editorial, runway look.

Brad, Rosa, Brandon and myself worked hard to get those messy curls to stand up. The braid was easy and the teasing was fun. Brad is amazing at teasing…just ask anyone.

Dallas photographer, Jessica Grammon, had the perfect eye and didn't mind our input, even when we had too much "input". She understood our artistic style and knew exactly what we wanted.

The dress was generously donated by Dallas Bridal Boutique Rosa Clara and I would recommend them to any woman looking for a wedding dress. The styles they have would suit anyone because they have so many beautiful dresses to choose from. They are located in Dallas and the ladies are lovely to talk to and very helpful.

This wedding look we created is very bride of Frankenstein. Zombies, vampires, and mindless monsters are very in right now and as a hairstylist I'm glad we stepped out of "the box" and into The Treehouse to create what others are afraid to.

I think that sums up this editorial photo shoot. We are a salon full of creative souls that know what classy is but when you ask for more like our Christopher Box did, we will rise to the occasion.
